She is the founder of The Briles Group, Inc., a Colorado-based research, training and consulting firm, and co-founder of Mile High Press, Ltd., a small press. She is known as a Book Shepherd to many. She conducts seminars on topics such as Speaking, Story Telling, PowerPoint Presentations, Media/PR, Webinars and Publishing. She is internationally acclaimed as a speaker and recognized as an expert in solutions to workplace and women's issues. Judith is also known as the "silver fox" of publishing.
She is the author of 26 books, including Zapping Conflict in the Health Care Workplace; The Confidence Factor; and Money Smarts: Personal Financial Success in 30 Days. Several of her books have won “Best” awards in Business, How-to and Non-fiction categories. “Stabotage! How to Deal with the Pit Bulls, Skunks, Snakes, Scorpions & Slugs in the Health Care Workplace”, was released in the fall, 2008. To date her books have been translated in to 13 languages.
Judith is a pioneer in her focus on conflict and sabotage within the workplace. She is a subject-matter expert in communication, personal finance and confidence. Judith has given presentations through out the country and presented the opening address to the Leadership Conference in Helsinki, Finland. Judith Briles is a frequent guest on national television and radio and has appeared on over 1000 programs, including CNN, CNNfn, Oprah, John Gray and Good Morning America. Her work has been featured in numerous national and regional publications including The Wall Street Journal, Time, Newsweek, USA Today and People magazine. She writes the “Career Moves” column for the Denver Business Journal, and appears regularly on Denver’s Channel 2.
